Commissioners Minutes - Monday, February 25, 2019

     The Sheridan County Commissioners met in regular session at 9 A.M. in the Commissioners Office, Courthouse.  

     All members present.  Paul stated that the meeting would be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Nebraska Open Meeting Act.  Krotz made a motion to accept the agenda.  Messersmith seconded the motion.  All voted aye.  Messersmith made a motion to approve the minutes of 2-19-2019.  Krotz seconded the motion.  All voted aye.

      The board signed salary checks. 
	
     Road Superintendent Tom Kuester requested that three items be designated as surplus so that they may be sold at auction.  Messersmith made a motion to declare a 1990 Ford truck, a 2 WD Kawasaki 4-wheeler and a pile of bridge planks surplus.  Krotz seconded the motion.  With a roll call vote all voted aye.  
	
     The board considered a resolution of support for the grant request prepared by Northwest Community Action Partnership for the Sheridan County Public Transportation program.  The monthly fee will be $310 from July 1, 2019 and then increase to $316 in July 1, 2020.    Krotz made a motion to approve Resolution #2019-3 authorizing Northwest Community Action Partnership to apply for funding to be used for the Sheridan County Public Transportation System.  Messersmith seconded the motion.  With a roll call vote all voted aye.
