The Sheridan County Commissioners met in regular session at 9:00 A.M. in the Commissioners Office, Courthouse. All members present. Paul stated that the meeting would be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Nebraska Open Meeting Act a copy of which is available on the guest desk. Andersen made a motion to accept the agenda. Krotz seconded the motion. All voted aye. Krotz made a motion to approve the minutes of 12-10-2018. Andersen seconded the motion. All voted aye. The Board audited and approved claims and Salary claims. Discussion was held reference the Courthouse chairllift, reference a maintenance contract. This was tabled until further discussion is held with contractor. Andersen made a motion to approve the signing of the Road Superintendent Certification for Determining Incentive Payment. Krotz seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye. At 9:30 A.M. Road Superintendent Tom Kuester met with the board. Kuester advised the Board on his plans for the 1 & 6 in January. He will also make a list of roads that the County will spot gravel. Kuester advised the Board that 3 overhead doors at Hay Springs Shop are in bad shape. Kuester advised the Board that he will get quotes reference the replacing of doors. Kuester wen on Record saying he appreciated Jack Andersen's work as a Commissioner. At 10:00 A.M. The Board opened the Mowing hearing. At 10:32 the Board closed the hearing. Andersen made a motion to adopt and sign Resolution 2018-33 reference the assessment of roadside mowing charges. Krotz seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye. Krotz moved to announce the Proclamation honoring Jack Andersen for his 16 years of service as a Sheridan County Commissioner.
