Commissioners Proceedings Statement - Monday, November 26, 2018
Present were Chairman Loren Paul, and Commissioner Jack Andersen, County Clerk Sindy Coburn, County Attorney Jamian Simmions, and Treasurer Peg Sones. Commissioner James Krotz was excused.

Mr. Rudy Stanko was not present for 9:00 a.m. agenda listing he had requested.

Road Superintendent Tom Kuester reported that crew was working on some roads in the norther part of the county where more snow was received.

Acting as the Board of Equalization (BOE) the Commissioners met with Assessor Tina Skinner to accept a homestead exemption that had been approved by the State.  Assessor Skinner also presented a correction sheet for a clerical error that had been found.

The Commissioners held hearings for applications for liquor license applications submitted by Benny's Restaurant and Benny's Mini Mart of Gordon. Brian Hugen answered questions about the businesses.  There were no other members of the public present to offer testimony.  With Commissioner Krotz absent for the day, the board voted two to zero in favor of both applications. The final decision rests with the Liquor Control Commission. 

The next meeting of the Commissioners is scheduled for Monday, December 10.
