Commissioners Minutes - Monday, July 17, 2017

The Sheridan County Board of Commissioners met in regular session at 9 A.M. in the Commissioners Office, Courthouse. All members present. Andersen stated that the meeting would be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Nebraska Open Meeting Act a copy of which is available on the guest desk. Paul made a motion to accept the agenda. Krotz seconded the motion. All voted aye. Paul made a motion to approve the minutes of 7-10-2017. Krotz seconded the motion. All voted aye. The board audited and approved claims. Electronic payments were also approved for Wex Bank and Nebraska Dept of Revenue. The board reviewed an audit proposal from Gardner, Loutzenhise & Ryan P.C. Paul made a motion to accept the audit for the amount of $16,754 plus expenses. Krotz seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye. The board approved the final payment of $282,141 to AMERESCO for the energy upgrade project on the Courthouse and Jail Buildings. Road Superintendent Tom Kuester recommended approval of the Fracture-Critical Bridge Inspection agreement with the Nebraska Department of Roads. Paul made a motion to sign Resolution #2017-9 authorizing the 2017 Fracture Critical Bridge Inspections. Krotz seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
